Happily Ever After 2002
Dotson: Thank you to everyone who made Dotson's transport possible. He is truly a wonderful dog and we think he makes a perfect addition to our home. Our 4 kids are overjoyed and our male dal Sobek now has another playmate. Here are some pictures of the dogs with a couple of kids. Again, our family thanks you for your seemingly endless patience, dedication and love of these Dals. We only hope we can give back as much as you given us.
The Gooden Family
Wiggles & Porter: both were adopted from Dal-Savers. Porter was adopted in 2001 and Wiggles was adopted in 2002.
Bindi: has only been with us for a couple of months now, but she's changed a lot. She has gained 15 pound since arriving and is at a perfect weight. No more ribs, spine and bones sticking out! She has begun to follow simple commands. Bindi has brought nothing but happiness to us. She gets along well with her new dal brother. They don't like being separated at all! She loves our male cat and would love to get to know the female. She has been surprisingly healthy, given the condition she was in when we got her. We absolutely adore her and she adores us!
Kathy and Dan
Dustie: We are really enjoying Dustie and I think she is quite comfortable here. She really likes to lay on our ottoman, (same place as our Pepper did) in front of my husband's chair. She whines after she has been up a while and likes to be held, then falls asleep in my arms. My kids are teasing me that I have started a bad habit and I don't know if I'll be able to hold her when she is 50lbs :) We cannot get over how much she looks like Pepper did the last couple of years (the graying).
Thank you again.
Eve (re-named Dixie) : Elliott is on the left (dog) and is 10 years old, Dixie is on the right. Eve now Dixie is doing great! She is a wonderful dog, and has fit right in. At first Elliot wasn't too sure about this new ball of energy, but they have become buddies, and get along just fine. It is the first time in 8 years that Elliot has a sibling who can out run him! After a few very quick laps around the backyard, I made them stop for fear that Elliot would hurt himself! We have been wanting to take some weight off of him. I think Dixie is going to help us do that!
THANK YOU very much for rescuing her, and taking care of her. I can't look at her sweet face without wondering what her life was like before you guys stepped in. Like you, I believe that someone took good care of her, but who knows. Maybe the Dalmatian in her got to be too much for someone. Though I wouldn't mind if either one of them whined a little less (SMILE!) I love the breed and am thrilled to have her. Thanks again,
Julie, Dave, Elliot and Dixie
