ADOPTED - Hi, my name is Mojo, I'm a 6 year old male Dal.  My hobbies include; laying in the sun, chasing a ball, taking long walks, sleeping, and EATING!  I love food (I can be found directly under the highchair at during any meal).  I am a very large Dal, weighing in at around 80-90 lbs but am not fat.  I am eager to please and enjoy cuddling.  I do not like thunderstorms, other pets (I want to be the apple of your eye), or baths.  I have been through a lot of training and am very good with obedience and I love children, especially children that are old enough to play with me.

ADOPTED - Tilly - Female, spayed, Dal mix, 2 years old...

"I'm a loving 2 yr. old who is seeking a forever home where I can curl up to my mom or dad and show them how loyal I am.  I'm crate trained but don't need to be in a crate because Mom says my manners are really good.  I'm potty trained, love the outdoors, love car rides and can't wait to have my ears scratched.  Children, cats and other dogs are ok with me."

If you can help please do, even a small amount is very helpful.

ADOPTED - Paco (Male):  is a 7 month old Dalmatian (black and white) born in Mexico on 1/30/05.  He is a great dog that gets along with all types of dogs and people.  He would be a great addition to anyone's family.  He enjoys running free in the back yard and at the dog park (he was tied up on a short chain during his previous life).  He loves to play with other dogs and hang out where the action resides.  He listens very well - he comes when called and sits for treats or just to please.  He enjoys snuggling up on the couch and being rubbed on the belly and the head.
Paco is enjoying his days at his foster home but would like a loving family to adopt him for life!

ADOPTED - Buddy # 1 (Male): My name is Buddy and I am a Dalmatian mix. I don’t remember exactly when I was born but the vet says I’m between 3 and 5 years old. Let’s see; what else can I tell you about me?

I like to chase other animals when I see them outside, including rabbits and squirrels. So I need to be kept in a fenced yard or be let out by someone who will hold me tightly on a leash. That way I won’t accidentally get hit by a car or become lost while excitedly chasing after another animal. My foster family bought me a harness that helps so I can’t slip out of my collar either.

I enjoy being outside in the fresh air a lot and my foster family takes me out frequently. But I really like being with them when they go inside, too. I am a really good snuggler and a very loyal companion who will stick right by your side. I like attention, but I’m also perfectly content to entertain myself with a chew toy, plush toy or even by just lying down and taking a cozy nap.

I pretty much like anybody – male or female – as long as they’re nice to me. I am good with kids too as long as they don’t pull on my ears or tail or treat me badly. When it comes to other pets, I get along well with the other two female dogs in my foster family. I like other male dogs, too, as long as there aren’t too many of them. But, I don’t need another dog in the household to make me happy and could be quite satisfied just being the center of your attention. My foster family doesn’t have any cats, so I don’t know if I like them or not.

I don’t get on the furniture, nor on my master’s bed unless invited, but I sure do enjoy curling up in a spot on the carpeting during the day (usually so I can be close to you) and on my new dog bed at night. I’m really excited because my foster family has even said they’re going to send my bed (along with my new harness and favorite toys) with me when I go to my permanent home.

I am somewhat housebroken, but have accidents once in awhile. My foster family is working with me on that, so for now I get crated when they go away. I don’t mind that as long as I have fresh water and a bone to chew on while in there and they’re not gone too long. That’s the only time I need to be crated though, even though I sometimes go in on my own and lay down if the mood strikes me. I don’t beg at mealtime and don’t bark much – usually only when my family needs to be alerted to something or when people go walking by. I know a few tricks, including how to shake a paw, and I love to play tug-of-war or other games with my foster family. They can tell you so many more things about me – stuff that I probably can’t really think of.

But the one other thing I can tell you is that I accidentally got separated from my former owners and ended up as a stray in an animal shelter. Then the nice people at Dal-Savers took me in and I was at a temporary foster home for a few days while getting ready to go to the “permanent” foster home I’ve been at since Aug. 26. Needless to say, I’ve been in a few different places recently and, as much as I like it here with my foster family, I’m looking forward to winning the heart of someone who will give me a forever home. Maybe that person is you. I am a good boy who is extremely loving and tries really hard to please my family members. Will you give me a chance to please you? I sure hope so! I’m waiting for you!

ADOPTED - Mashka (Mooshka) is a 6 year old spayed female who is very calm.  Mashka is Russian for Spot.  Her previous owner no longer had a place for her to live.  Mashka has a couple of bad teeth that need to be pulled, as they have caused gum disease and are very painful.  Please consider to sponsoring Mashka, to help pay for the surgery.

ADOPTED - Jasper (Male): is a 3 year old male Dalmatian mixed with some kind of hound. He weighs about 38 pounds, is neutered, crate trained and loves to cuddle. Jasper gets along with other dogs and loves kids. He is a couch potato, until you say it is time to go outside. Then he is ready to run and play. Jasper would do well as an only dog or with another dog. He wants lots of love and will sit up just to be petted..

We would like to thank Pamela Fraley for financially sponsoring Jasper.

ADOPTED - Honey (Female): is a 7-8 month old spayed female. She is very petite, weighing 28 pounds. More information coming soon.

ADOPTED - Painter (Male): 1 year old. Painter love's people, enjoys playing with other dogs, and loves to play with toys, and gets along with cats. It appears he has had some training and knows the following commands: sit, lay down and come. He listens very well but could use obedience training as he still enjoys doing puppyish antics. Painter loves to be outside or getting attention from you. He has injured his tail by wagging it so much in a crate. It is wrapped so that it can heal. Painter needs plenty of exercise and attention from the right person or family. He will be a faithful companion to whomever can give him a lifetime of love and attention.

ADOPTED ANGEL - Angel is very loving. She comes when she is called and wants to play with you. She is much tinier than her brothers and sisters but you would not know it. She has a strong will and is very smart. She learns easy and could benefit from puppy classes. She loves to cuddle and knows that she is loved. She loves to please you and lay with you.

ADOPTED - BUDDY

ADOPTED DINO -  - Dino is a wonderful pup. He just wants to cuddle and do anything that will make you happy. He loves to ring the bell I have tied to the door so he can let you know he wants to go potty. He has not figured out that he needs to ring a little earlier so he can make it out side but he is working on it. He is gentle and loves to give kisses. He knows his name and comes running when called. He loves to play out side and chase balls.

She has been spayed & microchipped. She is up to date on all vaccines and on heartworm preventative. Whitley is the mom to Muffin. She gets along with cats, dogs and children of all ages.

ADOPTED -  Captain Morgan (Male) - I wandered into a bar and was turned into the rescue. I wanted a bar type of name so Captain Morgan it is! I am a very sweet 4-month old black and white Dalmatian puppy that enjoys lounging on the couch and playing with other dogs and lots of toys. I am still working on potty training but I learn and listen well! I even learned how to sit just this week but I only do it for treats! I have big brown eyes and a face that will melt your heart so please be my new home, I will aim to please. Captain is neutered, microchipped, had his first puppy vaccine and Rabies vaccine, Bordatella vaccine and is on heartworm preventative.

ADOPTED -  Wrigley (Male):  Wrigley is a very sweet and curious purebred male Liver Dalmatian. He is 2 years old, neutered, up to date on all vaccines, microchipped and on heartworm preventative. Wrigley gets along well with all kinds of dogs and people, however, he wouldn't mind being an only dog. Wrigley loves being a couch potato, but is ready to go run, play or walk when it is time. Wrigley has had seizures and is taking Phenobarbital to control them
