ABOUT US
Dal-Savers Dalmatian Rescue, Inc., is a 501(c)(3) non-profit ALL VOLUNTEER rescue
organization dedicated to rescuing and adopting homeless Dalmatians into
loving homes. We service Wisconsin and Illinois.
OUR DOGS
We carefully screen the Dalmatians we take into our rescue. They must
have good temperaments and be able to get along well in a family environment.
Adoption
Fees are as follows:
Puppies and dogs up
to 6 years - $200
6 years and over - $150
Deaf - $150
The fees cover the cost of veterinary care since all of our Dals are spayed
or neutered, up to date on Rabies, Distemper and Bordetella vaccines,
heartworm tested and kept on heartworm preventative, and micro-chipped
before adoption. The fees also cover other ongoing expenses involved with
rescuing a homeless Dalmatian such as food, crates, leashes, and collars.

Duke - Hi, I am
just 1 year old and love to get into anything and everything.
I have lots of energy and love to play. They keep saying that
I am Goofy, but I don't understand what they mean. I just like
to have fun.
Duchess - I am a 3
year old Dalmatian/Pointer mix. I need a fenced yard to run
in. I also make a very good walking/jogging/running partner.
Do you like to play ball, soccer & cuddle? I may not look too
much like a Dalmatian, but I do act like one (my mom was a
Dalmatian).
Abbey - 1-1/2 year old Dal mix
female, possibly mixed with a cattle dog. She is good with kids, dogs &
cats.
Kippi - almost 2 years old and a
small Dal mix female. She is good with kids, dogs & cats
Snoopy - an 11 year old male
Dalmatian. He is in good health and gets along with other dogs. Snoopy
needs a home to live out the rest of his life.
Snowball
– Hi, I am a Bichon Frise/Lhasa Apso mix, 3 year old male. I spent my
previous life a breeder dog in a puppy mill. Being mistreated by the
male owner, I still am afraid of all men, but not women. When I first
came into rescue, I didn't trust anyone, now I wait for my foster mom to
great and pet me. Occasionally I will let me pick me up and I will sit
on her lap. My foster dad feeds me and takes me and the other dogs
outside. I am learning that I can be in the same room as him, but I am
still very cautious. I need a lot of time and patience, but it will be
worth the effort.
Spot
- Male Neutered, I am a 7 years old who loves to be with
people. I have been abused and may take some time getting
used to new people, but I have learned that most people are
good. Kids are OK, they have never hurt me and I trust
them. I get along with other dogs, but I don’t always want
to play with them. I would like a home where I can just
relax, learn the schedule and have people who love me.

donation towards the Dal of your choice, you will be listed as that
dogs sponsor until adopted. You will receive a photo of the dog you

ADOPTION
PROCESS
If you are interested in adopting a Dalmatian from us, you will be asked
to fill out an adoption application.
Upon approval of an application, one of our volunteers will contact you
to schedule a home visit.
VOLUNTEER
OPPORTUNITIES
We always welcome new volunteers to help us with this wonderful breed.
Our #1 need right now is temporary care homes. As a temporary care home
you will have the opportunity to save a dales life! Needed medical attention
is provided by Dal-Savers Dalmatian Rescue, all you give is food, shelter
and lots of TLC! We also need volunteers to distribute literature, return
phone calls, transport, fund raisers, do mailings, computer work or attend
one of our promotional events and anything else that may come along!
Many people think if they can't be a temporary care home, they can't help
a rescue. Nothing could be further from the truth! Click
